When you don't like porn, the internet must serve a different purpose. 

When I fall down the rabbit hole of a good wifi connection, I usually find myself on fashion blogs, news-y sites or Wikipedia. As I have mentioned, Refinery 29 has stolen many of my good years and The Guardian is my brain coffee in the morning. 

Due to this often excessive interneting, I have the attention span of a 5 year old at Build-A-Bear. But when I saw Oroma Elewa for the first time I just kinda stopped. She's beautiful. Really beautiful. All photos of her ever are so steamy-hot-fashion sexy that I scorn my whole Instagram history. But hey you can follow me: @heatherloveslove yo. 

Anyway, she is the darling of Tumblr, P.S. reblogging her is your stamp to the cool girls club. 

But more than that, (there has to be more) she's an African pioneer. With little publishing experience she had the chutzpah to publish the deathly cool Pop Africana and self-made herself into a fashion/publishing badass. Pop Africana is no more (I think) but her website promises an e-store coming soon and she also happens to be a dj. It seems that when you have as many hours in the day as Beyonce you can get up to a whole lot if you're Oroma... The reason I'm actually doing this post is because I follow Miss Elewa on Instagram and I saw that she's in Pretoria... Yes, The 012! 

I would love to become her SA bestie but even Pretoria is a bit far for me. You know what is also quite cool about her? On the Italian Vogue website she listed our own Ma Brr as one of her inspirations. How great? 

Too great.

Weekends away are the business! 

While we spend most of our weekends hating on people at Kitchener's the rest of our country has been livin'! Lest us never forget. 

Three years and eleven months of love has never been celebrated in such splendor! 

All I gotta say is happiest anniversary to the best person I know.

Concerning the progress you have made with regard to family matters and the manner in which you have handled them, I can only repeat what I have said in the past - absolute superb. I have never felt as comfortable as I am. I am really happy about all the children. It is true I would we wanted the highest possible education but I think they will certainly make up for it. I was happy when there was a re-union of the children four years ago and now with Lakhe and Lindi all seems to be very well.

Now darling, let me have the photos of the two girls at least, you know in fact that I want the photos of all of you, including ' bakhozi (in-laws). Your last photo was taken by Mthetwa or Cuthbert Mawana 12 years ago. Can you believe that? Have you any photo of Max there? Please send me a duplicate of it. I know you would not want to part with it.

What are your plans about Nkuli? ... Let her not miss the chance of a university while she is still interested. By the way, Tinie, she needs your attention and guidance on her love affairs. I know you think she has no boyfriends. She has told me that she has one.

We ought to know what kind of boy he is even if there is nothing serious at this stage; at least it is a way of educating them.

Seventeen streets in Johannesburg are set to be renamed after Albertina Sisulu, with the former Market street already proudly bearing her name. This couple dedicated their lives to ours and with their names emblazoned on the streets of Johannesburg I hope that their magic seeps into the city.

I have come to love coffee.

It has been a rocky relationship. The trouble started when people used to tell me that Ricoffy was coffee, yeah, and the earth is flat. 

Anyway, lucky for me I grew up drinking the fine stuff and now that I have shunned sugar, coffee makes me feel more like the unemployed struggling genius that I am (sad face). 

So when I came across this marriage of coffee and chocolate at Woolies I couldn't resist. Purists of either be damned, this is a happy marriage. 

Sartorialist, South Africa!

Rejoice! South Africans Rejoice! Well that's if you care about the Sartorialist aka Scott Schumann aka Midget Photographer aka Garance Dore Weight Watching Fuhrer, being in South Africa. 

Well he's there (since we're here in Ireland) for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week thingy and there probably wouldn't be a fabricoftheheart or any fashion blog/tumblr without the short photographer so he counts for something, I suppose.
