Three Things That I Love Right Now

1. This video. Boobies, Spanish and the Cosmos! If I ever made a music video I hope that it would be just like this.

2. This woman. GQ Korea's Fashion Director Jeeyong Kang. I love a woman who can suit up. She looks calm and confident while exuding a polite "fuck you".

3. These words. Come alive.

South Korea's Lee Sung- Jin.

Eye Pender!

While I was in Korea I realised that the majority of Korean women put a whole lotta effort into their appearance with full-on makeup being a standard issue requirement.

This realisation made me feel wholly inadequate in the femininity stakes as my usual 'makeup routine' revolved around me smiling in the mirror while moisturizing.

So after staring at enough offensively pretty girls on the subway I decided to try my hand at eyeliner thing.

Seeking solace from the rain we went to a makeup shop where I came across "Goodbye Eye Pender", I knew it was the one!

And I'm chuffed to say I'm kinda mastering the whole flick of the wrist and there is no "pender" or panda in sight!

Salon De Factory!

One of my favourite places in the whole of South Korea is this cafe Salon De Factory in the student haunt of Hongdae.

It's filled with books and magazines, and the waitress is oh-so-pretty.

When I have my own coffee shop (fingers-crossed), I hope it's just as great.

Being in Korea a week now, I have begun to realize that Kimchi Land is the happy place where brands come to either die or be revived as nostalgic cool.

Stussy (yup, it still exists outside of your dad's closet), Kappa and FUBU have all chosen Korea as their final resting place.

Unfortunately, Korea is not a safe haven for all things, the elusive (see: life changing) KFC Double Crunch cannot be found in Korea either...

Tommy and I are back in Korea! Whoop.

Round two for me, and I'm so excited!

The photos are from December, and from the layers upon layers you can tell that it was beyond freezing.

This time it's summer, so I'm ready!
