Eartha Kitt was a phenomenon.

A triple threat. She could dance, sing and act and Orson Welles called her "the most exciting woman in the world".  

She played Catwoman long before Halle Berry, and after watching the above video it seems she had Carrie fever long before Carrie Bradshaw.

I just adore her, she was so beautiful, so talented and fiercely her own person.

I love photo-booth pictures.

There's just something special about them that makes me smile and wish I was in Amelie *cue French swishy music*.

The thing about these pictures, is that whatever you are is intensified, if you're beautiful your beauty appears blatantly doubtless and if you're sadly not, the no-lies pictures will make you curse your genes and maybe your jeans too.

P.S. The director of Amelie; Jean-Pierre Jeunet started working on the story for the film in 1974.
