Michael Rapaport has made his directorial debut with this documentary about one of the most influential and innovative rap groups of all time. 

Formed in 1985, this group with possibly the coolest name ever changed the music scene by effortlessly fusing hip hop and jazz.


Rapaport, the guy from Boston Public and The War at Home has been a fan of the band since '89 and describes the film as a love letter to the band.  


Well, I adore love letters and one of my favourite songs ever is 'Check the Rhime', so I can't wait to watch this doccie, which has already been released in America.


P.S. Surprisingly, Rapaport is a major hip hop fan naming his son after Vincent Mason from De La Soul.
